More Disney Layoffs Include Long Time Attractions

Disney fans HAVE to be wondering ‘where will it all end’.  In the latest round of layoffs, some hugely popular, as well as VERY long time produced shows have been cut.  They include:

  • The ‘Hoop Dee Do Musical Revue’ at Fort Wilderness.  That’s a show that started in 1974, and claimed to be the longest running dinner show in American history.  Also,
  • Finding Nemo: The Musical
  • Festival of the Lion King
  • Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage
  • Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular
  • Monsters Inc Laugh Floor
  • The ‘Green Army Men’ in Toy Story Land
  • The ‘Citizens of Hollywood’ at Hollyood Studios
  • Jedi Training Academy

Will these shows be back?  Your guess is as good as ours.  If so, it will probably be a very long time.  Maybe never.  And for the long time Disney fan, yet another tragedy.
